A simple meal can be always be turned into something fabulous with just a simple sauce.
For example, take this lovely green drizzle that I made with a giant bunch of #dill from the Prescott Farmers Market, fresh lemon juice, a small clove of garlic, olive oil and a little salt. This was SO yummy, we wanted to eat it straight out of the food processor, but saved enough to toss with a simple bowl of roasted potatoes.
PS if you want to make roasted potatoes special, try tossing them with some Grains of Paradise instead of black pepper! I bought a package of this delicious, black pepper-like spice from the The Spice House in Evanston, Illinois. #GrainsofParadise taste a little like black pepper and a little like coriander with a bit of cardamom thrown in just for fun.
Here’s the dish for my dill drizzle: In a food processor, blend together 1 cup loosely packed dill with thin stems (remove thicker stems), a pinch of salt, about 1/2 cup olive oil, a very small clove of garlic and the juice from about 1/4 of a large lemon. Add more oil if you want a thinner drizzle, and as always, start with a small amount of salt, lemon and garlic. You can always adjust the flavor and add more if you like!
